Celestial Celebrations and Ceremonies

A Humanist Celebrant plays a role similar to that of a traditional clergy person with one difference: humanist ceremonies express our positive, non-theistic philosophy of humanism instead of traditional faith. Humanist Celebrants conduct humanist, and nonreligious ceremonies, commitment and same-sex unions, memorials, baby namings, and other life cycle ceremonies. I perform ceremonies in Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton and Newport News). I became a Celebrant because I feel that a couple should not have to join a church or profess any sort of faith in order to have a meaningful ceremony.
